I worked in the Santa Fe Springs Library's literacy program during college, which initiated and grew my love for teaching and education.I graduated from Whittier College with a B.A. in English and a minor in music, as well as completing M.S. classes from the University of New England specializing in Education Literacy K-12. I've worked as a member of a Jumpstart team as well as a classroom aid in various public and private school settings, including the Opportunities School program. I have a special place in my heart for private schools and the community it creates, so I was thrilled when there was an opening here at SFSCS. I feel so thankful and blessed to be here. When not at work, I enjoy reading, sipping coffee, and hiking.
